I am currently looking for a Gothic wedding to appear on Living’s hit show
‘Four Weddings’. Is it possible you can circulate this email to the any of
your members who you will be getting married in December 2009, January or
February 2010. It would be great for to talk to them about the show.

Living’s hit show ‘Four Weddings’ (the best average audience performance of
an original series on Living, ever) is back for a second series and are
looking for more brides-to-be and any civil partnerships to attend and score
each other’s weddings. Each wedding will be scored on the venue, the food,
the overall presentation and of course, the dress. The bride with the best
day will win the luxury honeymoon of their dreams!

We are interested in all weddings whether they are civil partnerships,
themed weddings, big or small weddings or have a high or low budget. The
last series saw us feature a wedding in cave, at London Zoo and a medieval
wedding.

Are you able to post anything on your site please? And spread the word to
any Goth models you may be working with.

AFTER FINDING THOSE ANNE STOKES TATTOOS I THOUGHT I’D SEE IF I COULD FIND SOME BY OTHER NEMESIS NOW ARTISTS AND I FOUND QUITE A FEW BY JASMINE BECKET GRIFFITH. THERE’S SOME REALLY NICE PIECES. JASMINE IS CURRENTLY WORKING WITH DISNEY TO PRODUCE REVAMPED VERSIONS OF THE DISNEY CHARACTERS, SO MAYBE SOON WE’LL HAVE THOSE FIGURINES IN STOCK

I live in Leeds in the United Kingdom with my husband Ralph, young son Leo and spinger spaniel Obi. I have been a full time freelance illustrator for about 12 years. I love the world of fantasy and it is really great to be able to earn my living drawing and painting fantasy subjects.

I have produced a lot of artwork for clients in the games industry, including illustrations for Wizards of the Coast’s Dungeon and Dragons rule books and miniatures. My artworks have been licensed on a wide range of merchandise including T-shirts, posters, book covers, calendars, tarot cards, sculptures, CCG sleeves, jewellery and greetings cards.

Lisa Steinke has been called “A Creative and Communication Ambassador for the Possibility Realm” by her peers and fans. Through her unique vision, enchanting artwork and inspirational writing, she encapsulates the spirit of “possibility” and self-healing.

Lisa’s interest in faeries really began when she was a young girl. Her mother took her for a walk behind her grandmother’s house in the local woods. There were some trees that had been burnt and the area was filled with new growth and life. At the same time her mom had been reading to Lisa from a book called “The Hobbit”. In those woods she pointed out the hobbit trails and burnt trees. She said the trees had been burnt by the dragon’s breath and the little dwellings and nesting areas of the local animals became the hobbit homes.

The world of enchantment came to life for Lisa. But it wasn’t until years later when she met a woman who had died of an aneurysm on the operating table for 6 minutes, and then came back; that Lisa’s life with the faeries would emerge.

Carol had visions while on that table in the hospital, and decided to recreate as much as possible using Lisa’s help. She had her paint on glass and mirrors to create the most light and illumination possible. Angels and faeries were everywhere! Her entire house was transformed and painted white with light shining brightly onto the pieces. That was in 1996. Lisa has been painting faeries ever since.

Through her unique vision, enchanting art and inspirational writing, Lisa Steinke visually embodies the spirit of possibility and self-healing. A freelance artist since 1987, Lisa’s work found its fullest expression in images of faeries that she explored in a wide variety of media and physical scale. Recently, Lisa felt it was no longer enough to just paint the faeries: they were insisting on being heard. With her company, The Faerie Gathering, Lisa creates a spectrum of artwork and merchandise for a worldwide market that combines inspirational images of faeries with motivational words that are informed by her own relationship and experiences with faerie. Lisa lives with her husband, Michael and two daughters, Chloe and Rachel, in Roxborough Park, CO.
